which network to port to?

hi guys.

need some help. currently on cell c and considering porting to telkom mobile for the note 2 R299 deal. can anyone advise me on how TM is as a network with regards to dropped calls, billing, overall network quality, 3g signal etc. is TM a better network than cell c?

all help is appreciated
 
Most definitely. Much more solid than CellC. Calls are clear, no dropped calls, data is fast.
 
@Fiza -
you should still get a free prepaid SIM from a Telkom shop to test the network out in the areas you most frequent, before committing to porting & a new 2 year contract.

I dont think the note 2 deal for R299 is still available.

The peace of mind with this deal is that you can just roam on MTN's network if you prefer that, so you're always covered.

Only negative is that you only get 150MB data for roaming on other networks, so your 5GB data bundle would not work then.

However, the 32GB Note 2 itself is valued at R6000, so you can also use the contract to pay off a Note 2. ;)
 
decided to go for it and i must say i am impressed with telkom mobiles network. much better than cell c and the 5gb on net data is working out nicely as the areas i frequent has tm coverage. havent used a kb of my off net data yet and its been about 2 weeks
