Which newish Samsung phones support multicast?

HAve an app running on my Samsung S2 that connects to my Solar system via muliticast . Now the phone is bust and bought a new Samsung J1 NEO and to my horror the app does not work. The developer says many new phones do not support multicast which is the problem. I cannot keep on buying new phones and returning them . Anyone come across this issue and woul dlike to know which new phones do . I know S6 does but thats too pricey

Well since the S2 was a flagship phone when it was released, you're probably best off buying a second hand flagship device.

I thinks that sthe best - or repair my screen - not sure how much that will be

Maybe try find a decent 2nd hand Galaxy S5
