Hi there.

I moved from Telkom to www.cybersmart.co.za as ISP for my ADSL. I am VERY happy with Cybersmart.

The only problem is that when I was with telkom I was able to logon onto news.saix.net but not with Cybersmart.as my ISP.

does anyone have some solution? I use XNews as my news reader and would love to keep it this way.

What IP address are you getting ( your pc or router ) when connecting the PPPoE connection?

I'd remove that IP in your post quick if I were you =P

Anyway, there were some threads about this, people having trouble to connect to the newsserver with a Cybersmart account.

If I remember correctly, Cybersmart had a proxy you had to use to be able to connect.
Not quite sure if that worked though, so do a search on myadsl about it.

There's like 3 threads or something about this exact subject =)

I will do a search and see what I get.
