My mother, 65yrs old, looks and seems 40 and is very active etc asks me about the WII console as one of her mates has one "to do exercise"

So I answer "you will need a WII console and the WII fit thingy"

Am I correct??

Her other question was "can't I just use you PS3??"

Is there anything available for PS3 that she could use???

Thanks for reading my post, eagerly awaiting to be able to advise my mom

Everything you need to know here about Wii fit: http://wiifit.com/

I don't know of anything that is as good as Wii fit on PS3.

Essentially you need both, that being the Wii console and Wii fit.

I have seen a Wii Fit bundle advertised. It was much cheaper than buying the Wii and Wii Fit separately.

It's called PS Move.

Xbox Kinect has the most accurate body tracking from any of those consoles but if you already own the PS3 then get the Move for it.
