which one? ps3, wii or xbox360

I read that in the new Spiderman 3 game on the PS3 you control the green goblin's flying ability with the sixaxis... now that idea does appeal to me.. I wonder how well that will work?

The PS3/2/1 controller was a mod on the flat NES style candybar controller of the 80's. In the 90's that made it pretty good, but it's designed around the d-pad, Dual analogues were only tacked on as an afterthought and it's been proven that their position is harmful over extended periods.

the 360 controller (Xbox 1 sucked btw) has been designed around dual analogue control and for DA games and it kills the PS controller. . . . and it's still got rumble ;)

JK, you'll find that most 360 fanboys (in ZA at least) are pretty intelligent well informed folks are chose the 360 based on sound evidence and investigation, unlike those who just follow the mad rantings of the high priests of Sony. Take the time to do some objective reading.

Exactly as Natas put it, Sony fanboys are raving to Britney Spears, because they've never taken the time to listen to The Pixies. Although his view is skewed in favour of Nintendo, with good cause, if you'd ever played Nintendo games you'd see the PS brand in a different light.

Shame whats with you and Britney?

Lol I played on the N64 biggest crap IMO, Its was Mario carting or something, cheap 8bit graphics.

And the 360 fans seem to be more IT inclined, those with 1 year diplomas (no offence) so as for intelligent, it can be subjective. The reviews are all in favour for the 360, but theres still forums packed with PS3 fans.

To me, I dont consider myself a hardcore gamer, its just a novelty to me.

Ignoring the blatant insults here can I ask you for a review that rates the PS3 as a better machine?

I have actually been asking for that for quite some time and am yet to find it.

Oh please don't post the one about Oblivion as the only reason the PS3 version received a better mark is because of new texturing methods which are being released to the 360 version as well...

You can post a review from any site that you find one, I just have not been able to find one...

You consider the opinion of hype soaked uneducated 12 year olds, who have never laid their hands on the console more important than the opinion of gaming professionals who have extensive ongoing experience with all platforms!?!?!?! Whatever you're smoking stop it, you're giving bad names a bad name.

As far as taking swipes at IT folk, I'd be very careful if I was you. Not only is you comment rude and uncalled for, but as with most of your **** it's just wrong. It takes a very insecure uneducated sort to feel the need insult people smarter than you, I'd suggest you apologise.

The PS3 price point is its worst enemy. There is NO reason, at this point, why there shouldnt be just as much of an uptake of the PS3 as with the PS2....It wont happen at present prices. This is a risk to Sony, because peeps who would maybe have bought one, have a lot of time to realise that the Xbox 360 isnt that bad a machine and/or the PS3 isnt that good a machine.

I am a loyal Nintendo supporter and NEVER thouht I would buy another brand of console, but I WILL be buying a Xbox 360 sooner or later. Why? I would say its because Microsoft know that software sells consoles. It is apparent from their stratedgy that Microsoft know that software is central to console sales. I am incredibly keen to play, Gears of War and also to sink my teeth into Perfect Dark (I love Rare, then made Golden Eye, an FPS that revolutionised console FPS's) If the price dropped I would buy one today....I will buy an Xbox for the high end software and my keep my Wii well used for downright cool, innovative games(like Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the best game EVER!!!!...SERIOULSY!!!).

Personally I hope the Sony PS3 destroys Sony Corp and that all the high level execs commit sepoku

Banjo Kazzoie on the Wii?!?! Is that coming out? That was one of the best games on the N64, the perfect adventure game? It cnat be coming to Wii, the francise is/was owned by Rare, who are now third aprty to M$......if it IS coming out...thats GOOD news!!!!
 
Nope, Banjo Threeie, I think it's called has been confirmed, announced and trailered for the 360 :D I've got the trailer, it looks awesome, just to rub it in ;) It's one of my Must buys for this year.
 
Oh yeah...heard bout that....Banjo Threeie - There you go right there....M$ KNOW titles sell consoles....Buying Rare was probably one of their smartest moves...its official, I WILL be buying an Xbox 360....

I am pleasantly suprised that the games are going to be reasonable priced, I was honestly expecting R700 per game... The console however is R200 more than I thought......

The rest of the accessories seem to be priced reasonable as well.

I also saw that the Xbox wireless adaptor is being released here on the 23rd of March as well. What are the chances of a local Live! server on the same day as the PS3 is release???

I will phone my bank manager and see if the Bank is willing to register a bond over my PS3. If they approve the financing, then maybe I will buiy one!!

But seriously, maybe we can start a company that finances the purchasing of PS3's....pepole can buy them and pay them off over five years or so...:D
