Was with vodacom for last 10 or 15 years.
Constant dropped calls and bad service...
So looking at the others now, which one do you recommend and why?

I need around 2 gig of data a month. And around 30 min calls. Most probably just bring my own device.

Must be reliable network. Mostly i am in gauteng. Want decent 4g speeds too.

How is cell c and telkom?

Telkom is getting better by the day and they have a wide range of products to chose from. :)

Will never do business with those bunch of morons ever again! (Telkom)

Advise, go get prepaid sims from each provider use it for a month each and then decide for yourself, we are not staying and traveling where you are and go day to day.

They are missing some major brands and Don't stock all models available in SA from certain brands.

Advinne (Cell C data network) has a 2GB 30day data bundle for R95.

You might be able to save some money on the Telkom network by using the Mo'nice limited time data and voice bundles. Dial *123# to see what offers are available to you. You can usually find a 200MB 5day bundle for R6 as well as various voice offers. I have seen bigger bundles as well.
