My daughter work in the middle east and want to open a bank account somewhere, for her salary to go into.
Which is good, and how can she open it, eg, can one do it like online, etc.
She only have a work visa there, and will not be there forever.
She currently use her local Capitec account for this.

I wouldn't have thought you can open a bank account in any (half decent) country these days purely online without all sorts of appropriate checks and balances in place.
There has to be some sort of manual verification, esp for foreigners I would think.

Getting a UK bank account opened in early 2000s was a nightmare for me until I had some sort of residency status/proof of address/utility bill/etc in my name which meant I couldn't be employed (at least in a legal sense) as how is one to receive one's salary. catch-22....

She can open a foreign currency account with one of the local banks (eg FNB global), or om lm sure she'd be able to organise something in the middle East too
