Then upgrade to win10.....

You can always try the "real" adobe one.... though I always found it to be a major PITA myself.

No man just try a different browser it's a common problem. And switch between adobe and the other pdf viewers on your machine one is bound to work.

Of course. I though this was about editing and creation. Have an old Adobe Acrobat license back here. But PDF Element Pro is pretty good as well.
