Except it's on Sprint... So not going to make here. I'm sure there will be a GSM equivalent though, else the Brits will all throw their toys out their cots. 2GHz. Hopefully they manage to make some big improvements on battery life between now and then, else that thing will need charging more often than a laptop (and probably outperform it too :P)
 
Sony Ericsson X10 is the way to go. Great camera, great sound, don't have the problem of dealing with Leaf. (When I had a problem with my last phone, HTC, I was informed that in most other countries HTC is only under warranty for one year! Therefore the phone is only really built to last you one year... but contracts are always two years here, so they had to extend the warranty)

Also Timescape is a really interesting app for centralising communication. Had my X10 for 2 days now and having lots of fun with it. Awesome things to download via the Android Market.

X10 looked like an option, but the lack of multi-touch put me off. And I am glad I got the Desire. But I love SE phones, and I do hope their Android market share grows bigger, 'cos it will mean that they will compete very healthily with HTC Devices. HTC needs stronger competition, and I hope it will come from SE. I mean, they put on decent memory from the word go on their phones...that is something HTC has not done nearly enough yet. Now we have to wait for Froyo to make up for it.
 
@Franncoislr: Yeah, I think the main problem with SE is that they have a slower factory to market time frame. HTC seems to be able to come out with the latest versions sooner than what SE can. Take for example the SE Aino. Also a great phone and I love the idea of having a phone keyboard with a touch screen, but when I found out that they hadn't written the software for the touch screen to work while you were using the keyboard I was very disappointed. It was like they only had time to develop a part of the software and couldn't be bothered to give us a finished product.

However I'm still enjoying my X10, I have never felt a need for multi touch, therefore am happy to wait till it's use is better defined and standardised.
 
Added to that, I am liking the Samsung addition to the Android wars...the more the merrier...the better chance of a better phone:-)
