Which printer ?

Got a Brother DCP1610W. Fantastic little black/white laser printer, scanner. Perfect for home office.

They just don’t work for home because Ink tanks have killed the market for affordability.

Nobody is buying laser when the replacement toner costs as much as a whole printer compared to a few hundred bucks for ink tanks.

My mono laser toner replacement was R1900. A colour inktank was R2400. And my laaitie is at the age where he has to do school projects, so colour comes in handy.

Also, the laser printer is a Samsung that was taken over by HP. Getting drivers and software for it was becoming a nightmare.

Restart your internet/networking/WiFi equipment
 
Thanks guys, the issues have been so many i cant even write them down but some are
1. Loses connectivity with PC, have to shut down and restart, could be Win 11? I dont know
2. Print quality is absolutely terrible.
3. Have to reset the counter every so often as it says ink pad needs servicing, once u reset it then its back to 80%, seems like a ploy to get you to take it in for costly repairs.
4. Scan quality and speed are terrible
My old Canon is far better and 15 years old
