I've got R500 in my wallet on the PS store and it's burning a hole in my pocket.

So from the sale, do I go for..

1. Alien:Isolation AND Metro Redux

2. Bloodborne

3. Far Cry 4

4. Dying Light

I'm leaning towards number 1 but am worried that AI is a bit 'niche' and I won't like it so much????

Put more in your wallet and get the witcher3. Best.Game.Ever.

1. Alien is apparently quite excellent and adding Metro it's a great deal.

2. Bloodborne is super hardcore. If you are of a casual inclination it's not the game for you.

3. I've only played a little bit and it seemed great. But open world sandbox titles normally tire on me quickly.

4. People seem to either love or hate this game, there isn't really a middleground.

are you kidding ?

bloodborne hands down - the others will not compare (not that i compared or anything :p )

Metro Redux is one of my favourite games ever. I still haven't finished it though. I have it on PC so I don't know how much fun a FPS is going to be on the PS.

But if you do get #1, I recommend playing it on the hardest difficulty with the stealth option.

oh and by the way i just came from cna seems they having a gaming sale
most ps4 and xbox one games are R399 but are not labelled as so

you find out at the till - nice surprise :D

So it looks like a toss up between 1 and 2. Funny, but I also thought after reading the reviews that Bloodborne might be a bit hardcore for me as well.

Bit of a silly statement to make.

If the type of game isn't right for him he's going to spend all of 5 minutes with it and then put it down having "lost" R500 in the process.

ALL the others on the list are infinitely more accessible.

*****

Also now that he mentioned he is playing Witcher 3 already Bloodborne is the most similar so a change is in order I would say.

Have you played Demon Souls or Dark Souls? Or even Lord of the Fallen?

If you did and you disliked any of them you'll more than likely hate this one equally. If you played them and loved them then it's a no brainer.

It's nothing something I would leave to chance.

Mind listing what you bought?

well im sure he would of done his research before listing what games he was interested in besides i wasnt being serious ofcourse its up to the OP to decide but i still stand by my choice - bloodborne out of the given list.

from what i saw these are all on special

far cry 4
alien isolation
battlefield
and a few others cant remember them now but maybe its listed on their website

Just went to Takealot with a voucher for R100 and had some credit left over already, so bought a R500 PSN voucher for R50.

Now I've got a R1000 in my wallet. Decisions, decisions :)

Alien Isolation.

Playing it at the moment. Its one intense game of cat and mouse as I've said before. Its quite good in my opinion and just a tad bit long. Sometimes it can feel a bit repetitive but its something I didn't really mind taking the overall game into account.

Dying Light was another game I enjoyed, well worth the money.

I really enjoyed FC4.

Witcher 3 I would also highly recommend.
