Which (rack mount) Router for home

Similar Question as OP.
I have 100Mbs fiber which I want to connect to a rackmount router which then needs to connect to a rackmount POE switch which then needs to connect to 3 access points and some other hardwired LAN connections.

This is for home (heavy) use:
6x computers (3x gamers)
2x servers
4x televisions (streaming)
various mobile devices (also used for streaming)
Security system with IP cameras
Printer

The router requires VPN Client (not just VPN Server) as VPN needs to be setup on the router to VPN to other locations.

Questions:
1. Which Rackmount router?
2. Which access points? (I would if possible be able to switch between AP seamlessly) ( Ubiquiti?)
3. Which rackmount switch (needs to be POE to power the access points) 16ports should be enough.

I used to do networking however have been out of the game for 10 years and did not keep up with the latest networking tech.

The USG, non-rack mounted version will be fine at 100Mbps. If you want to enable DPI or threat management go with the USG Pro 4 since it has higher spec'd hardware. Fibre connects via ethernet to WAN 1.

Why do you have/need three AP's? Make sure you're not causing any overlap. Start with less and work on deadzones from there. If you're adding UniFi APs they'll either need to be powered via a PoE switch or use the injectors.

If you're rack mounting everything I recommend, although looks like you're on the right track

1. USG Pro 4
2. UAP AC Pro - I have one covering 120m2 house with 5GHz coverage everywhere
3. U16 PoE switch
4. Raspberry Pi to power the UniFi controller, or use one of your servers to run it. Cloudkeys are a waste of time.

I presume the Gateway pro WAN port just connects to the Fiber LAN1 port?

Buy from Scoop or PC-Direct, or anyone who stocks Ubiquiti gear that you shop at. Scoop does sell to the public but I've found their pricing to be a little higher on some items.

You aren't connecting your fibre to the SFP port on the USG Pro 4, your CPE box only has ethernet out so hook that up to WAN 1 or WAN 2 with CAT5E or CAT6.

Not sure about OpenServe, looks like PPPoE which the USG Pro 4 does support. I have Octotel and it's DHCP.

Thanks this answers all my questions.

Reason for 3 APs is that it is in a 2 story building with re-enforced concrete ceiling/floor. Thus signal does not penetrate very well through the floor. Ground floor needs 2 as they should be located at opposite ends to cover garage and lapa area as well.
