Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I've looked through a few threads and also tried to do some google searching, but couldn't find a decent answer.

I'm considering getting a PS4 sometime in the near future and thinking of signing up to PS+, but would like to know which region to sign up my PS+ account with.

I've already got a PS3, but never looked into PS+, but the ammount of free / cheap games they give away each month, it makes it worth while to sign up for PS+.

I wanted to know which region would be best to sign up for PS+? Currently I have a ZA, US & UK account on PS3, as I thought maybe games would be cheaper in a different region, but the savings were not that amazing, so I basically bought stuff from the ZA store when needed.

But when I get a PS4, I basically want to go discless and purchase everything online and download all the games to my PS4.

Now specifically if I sign up with PS+, are the free games or specials they have every month supported across all regions? Example : For June, is PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate free for PS+ members on all regions - ZA, US & UK? Or is it only free for specific region?

So if I sign up for PS+ ZA, will I be able to get all the free games and discounted games each month?

Also which region works out to be cheaper? Which region has the cheapest new release games to buy? Which has the most discounts? Which region has the most variety games available? Example: Like an US iTunes account has more apps and games variety to choose from?

Thanks.

It's really not that hard to check. For the most part we get all the games every else does. There have been or two rare exceptions, but really rare and even then we get a different free game. Not less free games.

Why would you think other regions are cheaper anyway?

Only reason to have another account t is if you want Netflix.

I wanted to find out from people who have a ZA Plus account and other people with a US Plus account and just get their general experience?

I thought maybe it was much of a muchness now. If the monthly free games and discounts are across all regions, then I suppose if doesn't matter which region to sign up with. Maybe when the R/$ was better back in the day, it might have been justified to go for a US account.

I wouldnt put much more thought to this. There is not much difference between the regions when it comes to PS+.

Cool. Thanks for the inputs. Will sign up with PS+ with the ZA store.

Say if I sign up to PS+ now, using my PS3, and for example download PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate for free. When I get my PS4 (maybe in 2 or 3 months time), will I be able to download the same game for free? Or not any longer?

Will any game be locked to my account to download across any platform?

Plenty PS4 games now give you the PS3 version for free if it's available. Especially if you buy them on PSN.

I'm using a ZA account as my primary and it's exactly the same as the UK one. We get everything that they do.

The only difference might be with the apps available (Netflix etc.), but then you just switch to an account from another region, download the app to your system, and thereafter it will be available even when signing in from your ZA account.
