Which ROM for S4 i9500

Which ROM would be the best to get for a i9500? I would just like to have something different from the normal firmware. It would be nice to have decent battery life etc but does not need to be the most customizable ROM on the planet.

I am basically backing up my data, wiping the phone and would like to then install something new but it should also be fairly easy to install, not really in the mood or have the time to struggle now.

Last question. Can I do a back up with smart switch and then restore it with smart switch on the new ROM? Would I be ae to restore whatsapp and telegram etc or will I have to redo all the settings etc?

Struggle you say. Rather don't do it.

Is smart switch Samsung software? If so, won't probably work.

ROM, takes everything away. You'll have to start from scratch, unless maybe using Titanium Backup on your current setup.
