Dunno but I remember feeling I got lucky when I picked up a 128gb for R250. I remember them going for R600-R800.

Class 10 are cheep as chips these days because demand is for ones that can handle 4k?

The number of cards I ended up buying, each smaller and more expensive than the one before it, until I found one that would let me shoot 4k on my drone was staggering.

The class means nothing these days. It's all about transfer speed - MB/s.

A 128GB 80MB/s class 10 card doesn't work in our Inspire 2 drone (X7 camera), but a 128GB 150MB/s class 10 does.
It's the data transfer rate you need to worry about.

The price difference between a 80MB/s and a 150MB/s 128GB SD card was only R250 IIRC.

From what I've seen my drone wants a UHS Speed Class 3 card. It moans about anything else.

Fortunately there's 8gb of internal storage ... and tbh I mostly shoot at 2k anyway... because 4k of something-I'm-never-going-to-use-but-can't-throw-it-away takes up a lot of space...

I've found that not all class 10 cards are created equal. Sequential write speeds are similar across the board, but random write speeds vary greatly. Sandisk cards are generally the best when it comes to surpassing their ratings. Sandisk Class 4 cards tend to surpass most Class 10 cards in a Random write scenario.
