Hi, I am not currently a user of any "broadband" service, but I am going to be soon!

What I would like to know is would the users of iBurst recommend iBurst to me as a "broadband" connection to be used for Remote Administration connections to servers scattered around the world? Or would a Telkom or Telkom equivalent copper connection be better?

Latency is obviously a big issue here as well as available International bandwidth and consistancy of available connections, fluctuations will be an irritation!

Looking forward to some REALly good comments.

Thanks

Right now, emmigration is the best option.
Seriously, when Iburst works, it works well. But it is unreliable.
ADSL is reliable, but you have to pay Telkom.
Sentech is unreliable, and overpriced.

Given your need, ADSL is your only option. Good luck.

AR, I agree with GC, sadly your only option is Telkomonopoly's ADSL. Even if iBurst stabilised ITO reliability, you would likely still get high latency.
