I am due for an upgrade in June but at this stage I am a bit unsure which contract to go for.

I currently have an iPhone XS Max, and I am still happy with the phone and don't really feel the need to get a new one.

So I am thinking to go Sim-Only, but unsure which one to choose.

I am currently on the Made for Me M (1gb data, 150min, 100 sms) and I often run out of data and voice minutes.
I usually had to top up with 5-10gb data during the month and maybe R100 airtime.

i have wifi at home and the office but I'm often on the road so will sometimes need extra data.

I was thinking going for a data only deal (R199 for 20gb anytime data + 40gb night time). Will it be possible to purchase voice / load airtime on it?

Otherwise I should perhaps go for a Flexi (airtime only) deal?

The combo contracts are quite expensive and does not always give you what you want.

I also see they have the S10+ for R6500, S10e for R5000 and iPhone 7 32gb for R3000. Those prices seem almost too good to be true.

Don't know about their phones, though I do agree with you regarding pricing.

Yip debit order comes from them. Forgot what the process is called but they take your card when they deliver your contract and they input the details.

Don't know if you can port.

I was in this same situation a few months ago.
My 2 year MTN contract was nearly over and rather than get a new phone with 1GB data and a few SMS’s and minutes, I chose the 20GB+20GB MTN data only sim contract for R199.

I still have the same number and for the very few calls I do make I topped up with R100 which lasts me a few months.

Yes this was what I was thinking as well. I was just unsure if I would be able to topup the data only contract with minutes/airtime

If you go data only, voice calls will work as normal, however they will cost a bit more.Data deals works out cheaper then voice calls, if you do use a fair deal of data then the best option is to get sim only data and load airtime as needed.
