Which Skating game?

I am looking for a decent skating game for Xbox 360. Last game I played was Tony hawk underground 2 on PS2.

I am trying to see what the difference is between TH Project 8 and American wasteland.

I was also having a look @ Skate.

What would you guys recommend?

I have project 8, decent game which I spent hours playing but not sure how it compares to american wasteland or SKATE.

Skate is excellent, very different control setup and quite challenging, but nothing feels better when you finally nail that trick that you've been practicing for a week

.SKATE and .SKATE 2 both much better than the TH franchise.

TH is way too arcadey and is a bit past its sell by date ...

Yeah I must say if Project 8 or waste land are anything like underground 1 & 2, then I will rather save my cash, enjoyed it at the time, but wouldn't waste my money now especially on a newer console.

Edit: Anyone know where I can get Skate 1 or 2 for a decent price?

Try bt games, they should have it in stock preplayed and new.
