Which smartphones will get Android 9 first

Google recently launched its Android 9 operating system, following a brief beta testing period.

The newest version of Android – also called Android Pie – includes an array of new features aimed at enhancing the smartphone experience.

I own a Nokia 7 Plus and my honeymoon with Android P was an on off affair. Going back and forth between Oreo and Pie. All the grand features is only now becoming available now on Pixel. The wellness app is in beta now, first only Pixel but it is now available for the the rest of the Project Treble phones. The slices feature is available on Pie final, not the beta. The last beta was a really unstable beast. Some of my apps ceased to work or "dissappear" from sight. It has this AI based battery manager which ate up my battery like nothing. With it I rarely got 20 hours, but off I stopped it I got easily 30 hours with 24% still available. The problem, try to switch it off and it will switch it self right on again. Do I want Pie? Hell yeah! But now we have to wait, why I don't know! Because Project Treble makes it easy to update (two separate partitions, one for Google and one Nokia proprietary stuff, like the camera apps and stuff that make the Nokia unique). That is why I presume Essential got Pie on the same day that the Pixels got Pie!
