Looking to replace an office ADSL router and had a look at Linksys, specifically the X1000, but reviews indicate this might not be a good product and choice. Currently using a Billion 7402NX, but as of late this needs a reboot every two days.
Need to satisfy about 10 users max at any time downloading emails, using skype and browsing the net.
Are there any good suggestions as to a good and affordable ADSL router for a small office with at least:
- Guest WIFI access to separate the office LAN from visitors.
- Wireless a/b/g/N - 300 mbps
- 100 / 1000 mbps LAN - 100mbps should be fine
- Stable and able to run for a few weeks without having to be restarted!
- Normal routing capabilities such as port forwarding, DDNS ext
- VPN Services that actually works allowing for remote dial in to the office LAN
- USB Fail-over (nice to have but hardly used until the ADSL line dies)
- Does not cost an arm and a leg!
Any suggestions from past experience welcome!
