Only issue is Samsung sucks IMO, but I guess running Android does it matter? And it has USB, 3G etc.

I'm not a fan of the Xoom or Transformer.
Need something thin, light and agile.
The Samsung is good but the lack of ports is a major oversight on their part... enough to make me hold off buying one.
I'm personally waiting for Amazon to announce their tablets... hopefully very very soon (Oct).
Have a Kindle and love it... so can't wait to see what they have lined up.

If its all about the keboard you can get them for the other devices example

The reason I went for the ASUS Eee Pad is because I like the way the Keyboard convert the tablet into a "netbook" but mainy because they stayed close to stock as possible ie: updates are quick after release, but I guess if you root and flash its a none issue.

Guess another point was the price, ASUS is cheaper and I can live with the plastic case, can you?

No way, Samsung is awesome! I've got 2 samsung led's, samsung galaxy s 2, and getting the 10.1 tab next week. I samsung
But that's just my opinion.

Love the galaxy tab until the day you need to upgrade the firmware. Froyo to Gingerbread = fun and games. Oh and dont think you will get support from Samsung.

Starting to think maybe an iPad would be a better bet.

The docking station does have usb and Asus is releasing their usb adapter for the pad soon: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...5-asus-adds-more-accessories-transformer.html

Sorry I totally agree, I meant their phones, laptops, their TV's are incredible and so are their monitors.

My only issue is I NEED 3G. I do not know when the 3G model will come here Asus ZA say maybe end October.

Reason I love a tablet instead of a laptop, well beyond the fact that its touch screen and a nice E reader, is battery life and the Asus Eee Pad has 16 hours of it, well 9 hours of continuous use and 16 if you add the keyboard dock.
