My wife wants a tablet.
Because everyone she knows got one. she are basically going to play games on it, watch movies, facebook, and the bible on it. We got wifi, so data will not be a big issue. I think the best will be to go pay as you go. We don't heave a shop that sells them, only the cell shops. So I was thinking orange [samsung 10 "] or shoplenovo, also some 10 inch. She got a S4 for phoning.

Any advice please.

Orange Store
I bought the Note 2014 for R4500 personally from them in CT.

Game has some good deals on the Galaxy Tab 4 and Tab 8" in this week's paper. I have the Tab 4. Battery lasts extremely long. Screen clarity is excellent but sound quality surpasses anything.

You don't really give a budget so:

You don't really give a budget ...

Exactly.

If budget is limited, and you only want to spend R999, I've tried out Vodacom's Smart Tab briefly, and was impressed by the fact it seemed to have no lag. The person who owned it (an assistant at a retail outlet) had a big selection of photos on it, so I wasn't expecting it to perform well - http://mybroadband.co.za/news/gadgets/115947-vodacom-smart-tab-3g-deal-improved.html

By comparison, the (cheapest) Samsung Lite (whatever it's called ?) showed signs of lag from the first swipe of the screen, so wouldn't go for that personally, and it was quite a lot more expensive.
