Okay, so at the moment I'm using Axxess ADSL for my small business office. We have a 4096 line installed, and I use the Axxess Prepaid option, since I'm not particularly fond of contracts. I tend to buy their semi-shaped service (throttled during the day, but unshaped over weekends and in the evenings), since it gives me what I need after the rest of the office workers have left. But even so, I'm spending at least R2,500 per month on data at the moment.

So now that we have uncapped, unshaped services, I've been thinking about moving over. But which one should I get?

I've had a look at MWEB's offering, and at R1999 I think it is fairly reasonable. I've tried phoning them to order, but haven't managed to make contact just yet. Maybe tomorrow...

I've also tried to look at VOX's offering, but their website confused the crap out of me.

Axxess' uncapped offer is still madly expensive...

So what do you recommend? Which ones are good, easy to get and reliable?

It is R1999 for the business option...

The product is called
"Everyday Home & Office
UNCAPPED "

That's R899. The Office implies that it's a SOHO product - small office and home.

The R1999 option is UNSHAPED at all times, called:
" Business ADSL
UNCAPPED UNSHAPED"

You mentioned using it after hours, if you use it in the office then fine, but if you were using it at home after hours, remember that neither of the MWeb options can be used on 2 lines. The Business package includes a Cisco Router, and 5 fixed IP addresses, so may be overkill unless you need VPN or wish to Host your own web Servers.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll do some more investigation tomorrow, but just for clarity: The office is an annexe to my home, and I run one connection for both. During the day, I share this with five or six staff members, but in the evenings it is all mine....
