It looks like Vista will be available as of February so now I have to decide which one to get.

Had a look over here to see what the difference between the four packages are and I was thinking that the Premium would be fine for me. I mainly use my PC for gaming.

how much is it going to be?

The only guys who have it on their pricelist so far are Mustek. Can't remember the exact prices but Vista Premium is going to be between R900 and R1000. Not bad actually.

Be advised these prices are supplier and NOT retail prices as givin on Mustek's pricelist and include VAT. They say it should be available from Feb.

will routesentry work onint?

NEVER!!!!!! :p

Honestly don't know. :) Can't see a reason why it shouldn't. And if it doesn't I'm sure we can twist the developers arm to fix it for us. ;)

I'm running the full / final release of Vista Ultimate - little heavy on memory utilization but really rock solid so far (left box running through silly season collecting mail etc, came back - still here and no goggas.

Chose this version because of the integrated Media center

Haven't seen issues with many apps - you may run into issues if the apps attemps to load its own device drivers for hardware - significant changes made in the Vista OS to the way that hardware is addresses.

which means only local or only int :(

The University I'm going to doesn't support Vista yet, so I'll have to stick to XP 64-bit for the rest of the year. :(
