Good day guys

My TP-Link TL-WR1043ND router recently died. I am looking at the following as replacement. Budget is between R700-R900

Gigabit Ethernet not that important to me. Best possible wifi coverage would be great. I have a separate modem, so i only need a 4 port router with good WiFi.

Thanks in advance for any advise

I have the slightly older version of the TP-LINK’s TL-WDR3600. The specifications look similar, except that mine doesn't have the concurrent dual band wireless. It's easily the best router I have ever owned.

I can't comment on the other three.

IMHO ... I have not had a great experience with D link ... TP link WDR 3600 best option ... Good range too.

My had to start resetting my TP-Link router every 2 days after about 5 months of owning it. The WiFi network was still active, but the wired network was down. You guys had similar trouble?

I have the same model as you but I am running gargoyle firmware, it's easily 2x more powerful than my last drink, I actually turn the power down to 15dbm. Speed is also good at around 12MBps over WiFi.

Drink = dlink

Nope. I've had mine for more than a year now and the only time I switch it off is when I plug it out to protect it from lightning.
