Android works fine with any OS, including Mac OS.

iOS works pretty much equally well with Windows or Mac OS. Only advantage to Mac OS is Faces and Places syncing of photos via Aperture/iPhoto.

You can sync Picasa online albums via Android, guess it's the alternative Does the iPhone have the ability to sync with Picasa.
