Where have you been? It's been on there for nearly a month.

PS. And that is why they have: Low Stock

Hahaha...I wonder if they'll charge shipping? A member of one of my Whisky groups bought a R90k bottle of whisky from another well know online vendor in JHB...they charged him R175 for Road Freight.

Clearly not browsing Whisky Brother haha. Thats insane to charge courier on that 90k sale

That shipping nonsense sounds like it has to be Bottega.

I also love the "bottled sometime between 1966 and 1970" on the Yamazaki. If you're dropping 2mil+ surely you're owed some form of provenance? Like, am I dropping the average South African retirement package on a real Japanese whisky or is this a rebottled Invergordon?

Been reading up on the Glendronach, and seems the recent bottlings aren't as good? Also they have started chill filtering now, although not sure those ones have reached us yet

I think it's simply the fact that the older bottlings are falling by the way-side and the real ages are now on the shelves. Because of it being mothballed from 1996-2002, Glendronach was using much, much older barrels than what was put on the label when they started releasing the core range, again.

For what's probably my favourite distillery, they're really inconsistent across the board which was the apparent reasoning behind going "chill-filtration" so they could maintain the same flavours throughout their releases.

Pity it isn't the 14 but a fantastic price for Mortlach.
