Had that last night at the whisky library!! It is legit one of the best peats I've ever had. What a wonderfull dram!

Me and the SO treated ourselves to a lovely evening at the whisky library.

The kavalan winho was the best dram I've had so far in my short whisky life. ridiculously rich and decadent.
The port finish is a close second.

The compass box no name 2 was the best peat of the night.

Brilliant line up - nothing in that line up that is not great at worst, brilliant at best - Kelpie is the odd one out for me. Just could never like it much - was glad a fellow whisky lover liked it enough to buy my open bottle.

Not a massive fan of the kelpie either. I should have gone with the dark cove.

R500 off what price, the massively inflated price on the link or was it at market related prices when you purchased it?

I cannot believe that Takealot actually allows such ripping off. Smokehead High Voltage used to be R939, they had a special and I paid R589, after that stock was finished, I saw ACA has it listed now for R1917.

I just took a look and I have the 2006. how does it compare with the others?
