Got this on https://www.liquorshop.co.za. Has anybody bought it yet. The reason I'm asking is that they say it is cask strenght, which I pretty much doubt.

This is the cask strength bottling. Note the year. It's also about double that price ($77). I think whoever runs the site for Checkers is inept. Though they did put Blue Label as R999 on launch so... not all bad

Luckily did not order yet, most of the time, if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is
Went live for a few minutes in the middle of the night, apparently. Someone complained the price kept changing whenever they went to checkout. I'm guessing no.
Would you have said no to the Blue Label Ghosts & Rare? I'm sure someone here bought a couple and enjoyed it.

I'm still waiting for mine, was definitely some screw up as they sold more than they had. But I will wait to get it at that price (R799)

By the sounds of it some of the Ghost and Rare editions were very good but I have no idea

That's definitely on the list for the next purchase spree along with a Kavalan Solist. Sherry (R1900 at Checkers Hillcrest) or Vinho Barrique (R2500) I'm sure yet which.
