Thanks, will maybe do thatJust be careful. Many have reported that their cork broke while opening as it's been on the shelf for years (possibly since 2013). I lay mine on it's side for a few days to moisten and managed to open without issues.

Striking one off the bucket list this year, tickets/accommodation booked, 4 nights Loch Lomond area then 4 nights on Islay :
Up north only distilleries I'm interested in visiting are Deanston and Oban. Islay is a lot busier, Lagavulin, Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Port Charlotte, Bruichladdich then Springbank.
Anyone been over before? Any tips on distillery visits, is booking essential, best visiting times, other distilleries worth visiting etc. ?
