I've had a bottle for 15 years or so. I don't want to drink it - but curious if it goes off?

Sealed and in the bottle

Unlike wine, whisky does not mature in the bottle. So even if you keep a 12 year old bottle for 100 years, it will always remain a 12 year old whisky. As long as the bottle is kept out of direct sunlight, the Scotch Whisky will neither improve nor deteriorate, even if it is opened.

Look, I didn't google Whiskey, which is not the same as whisky, but I think the fundamentals are sound.

It can go bad but its less likely than wine or beer because of the high alcohol content. If the level is still close to where it was originally it should still be good.

As for pinballs google there is quite a bit of debate around that but it is certain that any change will be slow to happen so dont expect large differences.

:D I'm Irish, Whiskey is never around long enough for this to be an issue.

You need to make/buy more then.

I do. Regularly. It just seems to disappear long before it's expiry date...

Although, with current inflation, and proposed new taxes, I'm thinking a stash at today's values might be a good idea.
