Really enjoyed it but went onto see the success and it tanked.
Reading the report on the guardian website its no wonder.
It did seems like a PR exercise for Obama

Have you seen "Olympus Has Fallen"? if so, i think the reason it Tanked was because Olympus has fallen came out before White House down, and the 2 are so similar its just a matter of which 1 had more action, i think Olympus has fallen, but ja...

Hopefully WHD was better then OHF. That was just embarrassing. Worst film I've seen in a long time. I have my hopes pinned on WHD.

I've heard that Olympus has fallen is better. Much like that cock up where Deep Impact and Armageddon came out so close together. Armageddon got more attention but Deep Impact was a better movie IMO.

I though Olympus has fallen was pretty decent. If you want to see a bad movie see G.I joe retaliation....

Red Dawn was worse.

I've had enough of these save the US themed movies for a while

I was looking forward to this GI Joe sequel but when I saw The Rock and Bruce Willis in it I lost all hope.

Loved "Olympus Has Fallen". One of the better action films I've seen in a long time, and happily, "R" rated as well. I didn't think much of "White House Down". Had it's moments, but Jamie Foxx as the president was just completely unbelievable in the role. I could not see how that film cost $150million to make.

Interesting little factoid about Red Dawn. It was actually made in 2009, but shelved for 2 years because of MGM's financial issues. It was truly a terrible film. The original from 1984, with patrick Swayze, is ions better.
