i just went on Price Check out of curiosity and it's listed there for R26. Then went on to Perkal's website, they have it listed for R23,20.

I second that! Worst surface for opticals unless its a good one with 'bluetrack' etc...

My current white one works 100% (admittedly I am using the bottom ie unadvertised side).
