Who buys ps2?

Lots of current / old games R mostly PS2. (all the good one's)..

Obviously, all the new / latest stuff will come out on Xbox 360 and PS3. *basically forcing ppl to buy either PS3 or Xbox 360*

PS2 will die out in the next 4-10months.. *i mean, tekken5 was for PS2, Tekken6 is for ps3*. and all the new games will follow like that.. Racing, RPG's, and Mortal Kombat style games :>
 
Napalm : Fair enough, but thats to be expected during a console generation shift, but you'll be limited to only older games if you buy a PS2. If you're getting into the console thing now, its better to spend the extra money because the box will last longer than a ps2, and the new games are only going to get better...
 
If they brought the PS2 down to around R600 and had all the games that are still popular selling for around R150 or possibly even less, it would be a viable platform for someone on a budget. Especially people who have young children because they tend to plough through games. There is a massive catalogue of good games.
 
Dang! I am actually looking for a 2nd hand PS2 console, slimline version if you want to get rid of it. My son managed to break his. 8( So I need a replacement console. Send me a PM if you have one on good working order that you want to get rid of.
