Good morning..

I had rain 5g where I stayed. We moved one street block further and now the router shows a red light.

On the map where we moved to we are in 5g coverage but one lady said we are not..the other said we are and the other said we are on the edge of 4g and 5g.

The last lady booked a technician for this Friday to come out and check what is going on. Now what I want to know hence Rain is not replying or phoning me back....

Who will carries the cost of the technician coming to my house and if he does need to out up an outdoor antenna who carries that cost aswell? Me or Rain?

@rain_mobile ...can you perhaps help?

The tech won't charge to look and diagnose, but if an antenna is required, you will have to pay for it

A friend in Kenilworth had this same experience. Within the 5G area but 10% signal. The antenna and cable was about R2100,00

After that he got 75% signal

Hi all, if we send one of our technician's out for 5G and decide we need to install and external router - rain will cover the cost. For 4G, this is not the case. If there is any questions related to this, please PM me directly.

Looks like they changed their ways. I stand corrected
