Over there
I want to put out a few feelers to possibly have someone develop a fairly simple Rainfall Logging app for me. Over the years I just cannot find a simple, comprehensive and ad-free app where I can log actual rainfall.

Ideally, the app should allow multiple rain gauges, be able to display precipitation in a graph and compare years, months and seasons.

Anyone keen on contacting me?

You could do this using Google Forms and Sheets - or MS Forms and Excel.
You could also use the free version of PowerApps as only you will be using it. And then PowerBi to do your dashboard.

I should have mentioned, it needs to run on iOs.

No, something like My Rain Gauge.

All I have tried either have ads, are deficient in basic features and/or are crazily priced subscription models.

No problem, thanks though. Your suggestion did get me searching for possible iOs equivalents. Maybe something pops up.

Do you still need to go through an approval process to get your software permitted on iOS?

You see, you okes who know what you are doing bring things to light I wasn't even aware of.

I’ve done mobile app development professionally for the last decade.

Yes, the same as you do on Android. And it’s iOS not iOs.
Yes but I can run PowerApps on my phone without permission. Granted it is not multiuser - but generally my creations are for very small groups.
You seem perfectly positioned to help OP out :)

PA is no where near a native app. You don’t have proper access to the system.

But that’s not the point of this thread.
