bought all my daily supplies for today yesterday. No particular reason just don't feel like leaving the house today

Laughed when I saw the IEC complaining about low youth turnout & hoping it'll pick up later. Damn straight...I'm def sleeping in if the voting stations are open till 9PM.

Not me... I'm going out to make my vote.

If you don't vote you are useless to society. The only exceptions are those who are too young, physically unable or not citizens.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that those who don't vote are leeches (parasites) on society.

Was working this morning so only went to vote now.

Took all of five minutes from walking in to walking out, probably even less.

Now I just hope my psychological left-handed compensation doesn't result in one of my ballots being spoiled.

"Many forms of Government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."

At least average voters are capable of holding a five minute conversation.
That's more than we can say for non-voters.

According to the IEC rules, that would constitute a valid vote if you wrote that in the box.

Oh la-di-da...
Gee... Some people are so proud of themselves for being able to get out of bed and make a cross on a sheet of paper

Some people honestly don't care about politics or which party ends up fleecing everyone.... that doesn't make them parasites.

Says a lot about the people that can't even manage to do that.
