And yet you probably completely fail to recognize the problem with the issues raised by those gamers:rolleyes:
 
got the game, been playing sp campaign, its pretty good so far, the level that was optional was great, actually brilliant, i loved it, don't know what the big ho-ha was about, if taken in context, actually stuff context go wild.

The hype was abit to much, but playing on veteran so far and is quite a challenge, good game.
 
Also playing on Veteran at the moment. Played a couple of online matches and as usual it was fun, more of the same, but fun.
But i have to say the SP (so far) feels lacking to me. I guess i shouldn't be comparing it to games like Uncharted 2, but i can't help it, especially since MW2 was hyped to high heaven and back. From a SP perspective, MW2 has nothing on Uncharted 2. Nothing. Even games like Batman:AA had imo a much better SP campaign.And i'm also a bit disappointed in the MP maps, the look and feel of them. But at least the gameplay is still good ole COD, which is always fun for a bit of multiplayer mayhem.
 
Alright so now guys i have a choice, ps3 or pc?

Herzpant what should i get it? Regardless of graphics which is the better platform?
 
I got this on release day, which coincidentally was the day before an exam I was writing.. not a smart move.. at all.. MW2 is everything I hopeded for and more.. If anyone is keen to play online, then feel free to add my GT.. which is "Rueprecht". Am keen for some multiplayer deathmatch!
 
@Killa : Game is there ultimately to be enjoyed, got the PS3 version and enjoying it thoroughly...whichever version you choose, you won't be disapppointed, I would even like to get the PC version for the SP so i can get the superior graphics....but MP is only on PS3 for me...

@Kerrang : Agree with the comments...i think the locations are more varied, action more intense and fun factor is slightly on the up.....but there's nothing radical from COD4 SP....the MP though, they made just the right amount of changes to make it feel a worth successor, it plays smooth as butter (including the netcode) and i love all the customisation...killstreaks, deathsreaks, weapon load-out, perks, etc and the balance in maps is just awesome...demolition game mode also rocks...

More importantly, who has the prestige edition with the night vision goggles?!
 
i see the atn viper nvg retail at $269, entry level, so the p.e is like R1500, retail R700, so your looking at nvg worth R800, i can't divide by 7, never could.
 
well finished up my first run through, played on veteran became frustrated, went down a level, ended up playing on the easiest setting. Anyway started again on veteran, taking it slow, when finished will sell game.

I actually picked up 2 prestige editions. 1 was pre-ordered for the ps3 and the other I walked into Dick Smith here and they had one last copy of the prestige edition on 360, so i grabbed it anyways.

The goggles actually work quite well I think, kinda cool

lemme know when you wanna sell your console version if it's for PS3. I might buy it if it's cheaper than R400 (can get it new for R400 from UK)
