All jokes aside - this I think was a major part of why Zuma had to backtrack. The middle-class (call it whites, indians or coloureds - but mostly whites) have bitched for years about the ANC government and Zuma. Just moaning.

Last week Thursday was the first inkling of an up-rising or revolt from the middle class. As in actually putting action in place. You could feel it.
