Who is you Wireless ISP? Wireless Online

How much do you pay? R699/month

What speeds do you get? Browsing 192k(24kB/s) - Downloads 128k(16kB/s)

Do you have a cap and how much? Uncapped (Heavy usage is not allowed)

Is the service good? Service is good but do have its ups and downs.

When it works, I use GPRS (vodacom crap). With any luck Ill have HSDPA end of the month. Although Im not quite sure if its supported in my area, i do know there is edge coverage. So MTN here I come, !@#!$#%!@#$!@#$ vodacom!!!

haha that doest really count as a WISP.
I was going to get Wireless Online. Apparently their pings are amazing, someone told me they got 30-40ms on local Warcraft server and that they get really good ping internationally too, they can even play FPS international on their WO access.

So how much do they usually tolerate before they get angry about high usage?

You can do lots of downloads. About 10GB, maybe 20GB

Well thats not a bad deal then, pretty much like sentech but a bit more expensive.

Then again probably better service levels, pings and stability than sentech.

Aerosat in PE , I have a ,192kbit/s connection downloads at roundabout 21kbit/s never had any trouble with them at all. uncapped , I hear that some of their customers hit 80-90 gigs a month. Must admit I have been making a bit of a pig myself but what the heck its only R495/month

Now just a thought, If you had a service like this available in your hometown, why bother with telkom, its expensive, the service sucks, and who knows when the SNO might start delivering. I have been waiting a 3 weeks for telkom to remove their ISDN boksie from my desk, phoned them today and they have the job in the system for (wait for it) the end of May.

Granted for online gaming it might not do the trick but for me I dont need any thing else. The ADSL debate leaves me cold

I would like to know who is your wireless ISP in Jo'Burg? And do they offer a good deal? For a good connection?
