Who loves Iburst?

Gatecrasher, I found that something 'sexier'!

It's called a Motorola V3 Razr and I got it yesterday - I just can't put it down.

My SE P910i is now strictly a 'work phone'!

    Boet?? ok........happy for you.....does your keypad buzz if you listen to it closely?? *stir*

Well, my Nokia N70 is very sexy too. But R499 per gig keeps things in perspective.

OH I LOVE Iburst for their wonder accounts department that keeps telling me my account has not been paid, every second month I get a your account is 12 months behind, your account is 2 months behind, your account is 6k behind, WE HAVE CUT off your account due to non payment in your account and NO one except for accounts can reactivate your account till after easter!

Besides the incompentant staff I have to admit their 1Mbps is by far the best at this point in time :)

Can I ask what their pricing is like in this thread, or is there already a thread discussing the pricing (and general service quality) for iBurst? I'm in an area/exchange which is not on Telkom's radar for line upgrade to ADSL.

hmmm... a little (re)searching shows that iBurst is fast enough for downloading and surfing. So how does the pricing compare for 5-10Gb per month? It's probably best not to have the temptation for gaming!

flarkit check this page:

anyhow update: I just received a call from the CFO of iburst, he assured me that 1gig is what they will be compensating me for the problems I received and they are moving to a new software package that will not cause the same problems I received.

I still feel that 1gig is too cheap for the troubles they cause :(

Look, sorry to break it to you, but that wasn't the CFO. Trust me. I've spoken to more than one "CFO"

You feel pretty important the first time around, because hell, they called you and not only that, the CFO called you, amazing.... after the 2nd or 3rd time when you realise that it's not the same person you just feel darn hoodwinked, so much so that you end up cancelling their stupid service and switch to a more reliable one that doesn't give you headaches.
