When I am abroad and I get a spam call then who pays the charges?
Should I just let the robot keep talking?

The call originator pays the normal rate and you pay the international portion of the the call. The last time I was abroad Vodacom billed me even for unanswered calls. So the longer it rings, the more you pay.

Strange though...cause Im on a pay as you go
With no money loaded on it at the moment.
So how do they get the money?

Can say though theyve never billed me for unanswered calls.
Ive had 2 or 3 in a week and it never went on my bill

When roaming you pay roaming cost plus for calls you make or receive.

So this is fun...every hour I lose 1c of data for being out-of-bundle
