When I phone Telkom they say the max speed I can get is 4mbps but on this site it says 10mbps. Who is more reliable. I already pay for a 4mbps line. Is it true that I won't need to upgrade my line to do 10mbps but only my ISP?

The following Telkom service is available in your location:

ADSL is available in your area
Your exchange is also enabled for 10Mbps

You are connected to the LYNNWOOD GLEN (TLWG02) exchange.

Just call telkom and ask them to put you back on to 6meg,you only went down to 4Meg because you had reliability issues for a while.

You may need to call a few times to get the right operator.

Remember though that it also depends on your actual line stats. If you post those we can help you more.
