Who should stop the debit order?

I made the last payment on my car on the 5th of October.
I notified Standard bank and got the paperwork to register my car in my name as well as a letter stating that they closed the load account.

This morning received the alert that Standard bank NAEDO still went off my account for the payment amount.

Not a huge issue. I just needed that money to pay an R20000 blood test tomorrow at the Oncologist to figure out what treatment can kill the cancer I have.

I am not sure if I can cancel a NAEDO transaction or if the bank should cancel it. My primary bank is ABSA. The transaction originated from Standard Bank

Just contact the bank who pulled the DO (SB). Debit Orders is a mission to get fixed !
