Who to call to decrease line speed?

Hi all,

I would like to decrease my line speed from 4mbps to 512kbps.

What is the best number to call for this?

Also, what's the best number to call to get a Telkom 3GB account? :cool:

I wouldn't downgrade if i were u bud, for a couple of reasons.

From 1 August upto 4mbit adsl price is going down from R516 to R413

512K is currently R362 and its going down to R324

So basically 512K's price is dropping by a mere R40 +- , while upto 4mbit is dropping by R103

So at the end of the day the price difference between 512K line and a 4mbit line is going to be a mere R89 saving :> lol

So dunno why u wanna downgrade, cause the prices are dropping by R103 for 4mbit lines anyway.
Also the price diff is only R90 between 512K and upto 4mbit line from next month.
Personally i won't go back to 512K if i were u buddy

I agree with Napalm though. If it's money you're worried about then rather just drop down to 384... Much better savings...

Will consider this.

Problem is I've got a 1GB account on a 4mbit line. Makes no sense.

I'd rather have a TI 3GB (get 6GB out of it) on a 512kbps line.

Will check it out, maybe I can keep my 4mbit though so your help is much appreciated ;)
