Who will win the US elections this year?

  • Donald Trump

    Votes: 188 53.9%
  • Joe Biden

    Votes: 64 18.3%
  • I don't care

    Votes: 97 27.8%

  • Total voters
    349
Oh, I am sure they will end up trying a stunt like that. Heck i am even very certain that the anc over here is going to try a stunt like that too. But I meant the numbers in his screenshot, for eg Election winner - Trump 1.90 vs Biden 2.50. Which is better? The higher the number or the lower?
Much harder to achieve here - US ('Murica) has electronic voting systems, we use a largely manual one and the manual count is watched by the masses of parties involved everywhere like hawks. There are some weak corners though.

The rest others can answer, I don't follow 'Murica's behaviour much.

I must clarify that I only recently started following politics in general. But thank you for your answer. Do you mind pointing out which statistics you are referring to? And I really am not trrying to put you on the spot I actually am interested.
Fair enough - I've been following US politics for 10 years.

Objectively:
1) Unemployment is the lowest ever in US history.
2) Stock market is at highest levels ever
3) The Biden legislation: CHIPS act, Rebuild America etc. invest in the country.
4) Covid is gone.
5) Gas and energy prices, while not the lowest, are trending way down from Covid times.
6) They attempted to pass a major Border Bill to secure the border, but Republicans killed it because they didn't want Biden to look good so Trump could run on the "Border Crisis".

Things weren't so bad under Trump, but the world is tired of his 3rd Grade English tirades and divisiveness.

Interesting fact I read somewhere the other day - apparently about half of the world's population are involved in major political voting this year :-o

Out of 331.9 million mericans and they have these two as the main drivers..................

They got the same shyte we have in SA with what wonderful politicians are supported.

1 - The unemployment rate seems to have been trending in a downward path since 2009 already with the lowest under Trump being 3,5% in Sept 2019 and the lowest for Biden being 3.4% in 3.4% in January 2023. That being said, it seems to be taking an upward swing now currently sitting at 3.9%. (https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/UNRATE)
2 - As with unemployment when we look at the charts we can see that since 2009 the stock market was also climbing bar in 2020 where it dropped but during buth presidencies it was following an upward course so I don't think it has anything to do with either. (https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/stock-market)
3 - From what I know and see about the Biden administration they seem to be doing more harm to their country than good. One issue being thier open border policy, look at what South Africa looks like with all of these illegal foreigners walking through our nonexistent border. The CHIPS Act is a no-brainer. It is literally just going to diversify the locations of microchip manufacturers and offer tax credits to manufacturers. (https://rb.gy/uduppa)
4 - Covid is gone.......Not because of either (We can only hope)
5 - There was no need for it to be high in the first place, the first thing Biden did was shut down their own gas and oil production.
6 - I remeber seeing something about that bill and I remember they wanted to push through a lot of "other" stuff. And besides, Trump was busy securing the border by building the wall.

I think maybe the world is tired of politicians that are there for a paycheque. Maybe they do need somebody whose sole purpose of being there isn't for the money?

Voted for "I don't care". I wish the Democrats had a younger candidate. One with energy and vigour.
On a personal note, I don't think the outcome will make much of a difference to me.
They had a candidate in Robert F Kennedy. He had the right message to tip the scales. But they were too corrupt, because RFK is not funded by the same funders as the rest of the party, therefore not under the same control. So their own DNC (their internal cabinet) turned against him. Like I feel he was almost perfect for them, but he is too much of an old school democrat, not the insanely progressive new school democrat.

There is no way foul-mothed drump will beat the senile joe. he failed before and he will fail again.

Trump. The people are tired of the Dems destroying the place. Not that he will do much better but a change is as good as a holiday :)

Also I wanna see all the woke actors leaving Hollywood as they promised if he comes in.

as long as he doesn’t touch big business which I don’t think he will we’re good
Yeah, the need to take turns destroying. That's just fair.

I have a problem with this, you asking for uncorrupt politicians? that simply wont exist,
neither in out South Sh1th0le or in the US, what we need is politicians who still manage to get some things done, While stealing and benefiting themselves and their friends.

an uncorrupt politician? never heard of it, maybe I should look for Dry water?
