Who Won Your Ward

Ok, let me be more specific, Middle Class White people with Internet, or would you say its a mix

Its a mix..

My VD is very racially mixed, and pretty middle class and was quite heavily skewed towards the DA.

Voting station results are in -- DA 87% ANC the rest.
Ward results N/A - 2 voting stations still missing results.

As per the IEC site

BUT if you look at the news 24 site referred to in the link,

The DA has more than 94% support, with only one voting station still unaccounted for, with a maximum of 573 possible extra votes to come in.

Wonder why the IECs own pages are slow to update ?????

Indians and Coloureds generally also vote in favour of the DA. Go look at the Indian areas in Durban like Chatsworth and Phoenix - DA is the dominant party there.

Pretty much the whole of Alberton is still waiting for results.

What does it matter, (although I'm curious as to why). The DA will win overwhelmingly, and yet we'll be governed by the party that the Elections Rigging Board put in place when they drew the municipal borders.

I would say a mix ... spose one could argue that with ~6.7 million votes, the DA has pulled a large proportion of the majority.
Sure, some of these may well be anti ANC votes - like Seskona and NFP supporters, but then again, looking at the VDs more closely - many of the wards are DA controlled, and its likely that some of those votes came from a more informed voter .... so to speak.

On the day of the election, I was posted outside the voting station in our area.
Quite a few black folk were quite proud that they had voted DA ''for change''. But then again, the they are middle class folk.
(I should also add that the senior ANC representatives were quite chatty and accommodating and even offered drinks and snacks, and asked how they could assist in the community regardless of party rivalry. The junior volunteers were just doing the toyi toyi and really didnt fit the demographic at all - but toned down when the senior guys were in attendance)

The rural areas (in general) - with exception of northern KZN are remote and generally ANC strong holds.
