Alright I am sooo happy right now, The past few speedtests show my ping was about 10ms! Wow that's got me overjoyed but thenthe unstable line just made me sad again so I wanna ask if such a low ping is an indication of something causing loss of sync because other times my ping is like 100ms??

Oh and my down and upstream of attenuation seems to be a great deal different?

SNR Margin (Upstream) 17.8 db
SNR Margin (Downstream) 28.3 db
Line Attenuation (Upstream) 21.7 db
Line Attenuation (Downstream) 44.0 db

Should they always be so different?

Oh also my tracert seems quite funny?

The upstream attenuation is always going to be about 1/2 of the downstream attenuation. The reason is quite technical, but in short it is because the downstream signal on ADSL uses a higher frequency range, and higher frequency ranges have a higher loss over distance.

As long as your SNR margins are above 10dB and your attenuation values don't fluctuate, you should be OK. Btw, what is your upstream and downstream sync speeds?

UHHHH yeah so this morning my ADSL wass syncing at 2044kbps then after losing and getting sync it synced at 2048kbps. Also it takes a while sometimes for the green internet light to go on after the adsl line is up, takes about maybe a minute maybe more?

something causing loss of sync

Disconnect everything from your line and connect a single corded handset directly to the first available phone socket, and then check for noise on the line or an issue with the dial tone. Test the connection with your modem directly connected to this phone socket as well, to ensure that any in-line filters or other devices aren't causing your service to dropout.

It may also be worth using a shorter phone cable - from your modem to the phone socket - at that distance from the exchange.
