Hi Guys, hope you are well. I am wondering how does one actually resolve or lookup a domain name that consists of both za and com extensions? I need to know if this is a legitimate registered name or not. I can resolve hsbc.com but not with the ZA in the front of it.

Example: za.hsbc.com

Remember you cannot register za.hsbc.com or za1.hsbc.com
You register hsbc.com and then you can put in any sub domain in front of hsbc.com

So if you wanted to use za.hsbcd.com, you would first need to register hsbcd.com then you would make a sub domain in your DNS.

Clearly they didn't add a za record in their domain-dns
