Whose responsibility is it to spell properly?

LESSON #1

Lose........not "loose" !!!! ( My base station is down and i'm loosing money) LOSING !!!

Loser........not "Looser" !!! (What a looser) AAaaaaaaarrrrgghh!!!!!!

It's my pet ****ing peeve!!! Get it right dammit!

:D

me too, that one gets me, when i see people saying "looser" or " i don't want to loose my stuff" i snap

It's all way too loose ?
What's wrong with loose, looser and loosing ?
Have I been working with American too long ?
Caren't seem to find my British/SA dictionary.
Seriously, is it loser, thats like wrong innit?

Language is easy, once you see it in action being used -
*holds up a book*

"This..is a BOOK..it-is-your-friend. Disregard what the evil bad english teacher may have made you believe, by boring you senseless with bad teaching methods. Books are GOOD. They contain all kinds of cool idea's, concepts and - the more you read, the better your comprehension of language gets. Words become a means of communication, not something you had to learn in school with no application in reality - unless of course you never need to communicate deeper concepts or higher abstract thought.
If you believe your inner thoughts and intellectual states can be adequately communicated in phrases like 'Nooit jirra kief that's so radical ek se" - (or so-called gangsta slang) then fine - but don't expect to rise to any powerful positions in society, or ever hope to be thought of as having a viable and productive intellect. :P

So whose responsibility is it to spell properly? That's an insanely dumb question.
Like asking 'Who's responsibility is it to make sure I wash properly?' Duh.
If you have to ask it, you stink already, and people are too polite to tell you. :P

*steps back, puts book down, pulls on asbestos clothing, and relaxes*
:)

The English Language does not like to be messed with. It has a living, breathing feeling.
Those that love and cherish it are from all walks. They all share a wonder at the expressiveness and sheer exhilaration of being able to use the language to a high degree.

Viva English. Don't Fuucck with it unless you know what your doing.
Live it, Love it, Cherish it and Use it. Don't Trash It.

I speak crap of course - you gotta bend them words, freak that language, poke it in the eye and pull it's teeth - it needs to be challenged.
